How is the scheme funded?

SECAmb provide our group with kit for only 2 CFRs. The details of this kit is shown in the equipment section of the website. All other kit has to be purchased and to kit out a CFR with equipment and uniform costs around £1,598. Once a CFR is setup with a kit, the contents are replenished by SECAmb at no cost to the scheme. We also purchase our own training aids for ongoing and refresher in-house training carried out at our monthly team meetings.

Our CFRs often give presentations at various events to raise awareness and a picture from one of these
is shown to the left, where George (Team Leader) is presenting to Crowborough Chamber of Commerce.
