We have a number of ways that you can support the work of the Crowborough Community First Responder team. Working together in partnership allows us to achieve more in the local communities we serve of Crowborough, Rotherfield, Wadhurst and Withyham<\/p>\n

Our charity has recently been given a Mercedes Vito van. Due to the running costs associated, we have decided at this time to utilise only for supporting our events we attend for public engagement and used by members of the team when going around our network of
\nPublic Access Defibrillators, either carrying out routine checks or responding to units that have been deployed and stock distribution to our team of volunteers.<\/p>\n

Areas of running costs that we are looking for sponsorship are:
\n– Insurance<\/strong> [Sponsorship Level: \u00a3600\/year]<\/span>
\n– Monthly fuel contribution<\/strong> [Sponsorship Level: \u00a350\/month]<\/span>
\n– Signwriting<\/strong> [Sponsorship Level: \u00a32,500 one-off]<\/span><\/p>\n

All main sponsors of this vehicle will have their sponsorship referenced in the livery design.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nWe have been able to fund the installation of 17 Public Access Defibrillators (as of May 2023), alongside those we maintain on behalf of other organisations.<\/p>\n

Without any deployment of these units, we can calculate the maintenance costs to be \u00a3120 per unit per annum. With your help, this means we do not have to ensure we maintain reserves to cover these costs, but can instead use donations to increase the number of units we have available to our communities.<\/p>\n

To give you an idea, there should be a Public Access Defibrillator within 800m of every property. That means we have a lot more work to do to help save more lives in our communities.<\/p>\n

If you are able to sponsor the maintenance of one of our units, we will in return display your name or company details on the cabinet to acknowledge your support. Each year you would have the option to renew your support or cancel the agreement. Any costs associated with a deployment in this period of sponsorship would be covered by our charity.

\nEach year we hold a major Black Tie fundraising event.<\/p>\n

This event takes the team almost a full year to plan, so always part our Friends of Crowborough CFR team’s workload. Held at the amazing East Sussex National, this event is usually a sellout, with 150 guests joining us for a 3 course meal, raffle, auction and entertainment. Some of our guests even choose to stay at the venue to make a weekend break.<\/p>\n

We are always open to discuss sponsorship opportunities for this event, from sponsoring the welcome drinks, maybe supplying a raffle or auction prize to sponsoring event running costs with the venue. Any sponsorship we secure for this event, which in 2023 is running for the 6th year, allows us to maximise the fundraising we can take from the event.

Event sponsors are acknowledged not only at the event, but on all printed and digital media from the ticket launch, which usually takes place in March or April.<\/p>\n
