The main function of the Friends team is to support the Crowborough CFR Charity by co-ordinating and actively supporting fundraising activities
The Friends of Crowborough CFR team was founded by Reg & Dee Hook, after Reg was attended to one of our frontline Community First Responders
Whether it is finding new sources of fundraising, supporting the Charity’s roadshow at events, or carrying out administration tasks, we provide support to the frontline CFR team. This allows them to concentrate on responding to emergency 999 calls, deploying Public Access Defibrillators and training basic lifesaving skills within the community. Together we achieve more.
Some of the Friends team have been attended to in an emergency by one or more of the frontline CFR team. But most of all we want to be involved in supporting the work the Charity does, because we believe passionately in the vital role the team plays in our community.
